A Travel Guide to Ibiza
The island of Ibiza is renowned for its amazing beaches, coves, and towering cliffs. Much of the island is covered with pine trees, as is its smaller neighbor of the Balearic Island chain, Formentera, gaining them the collective name of the Pine Islands, or Pituses.
The Island is accessible by boat from the Spanish mainland or by plane to Ibiza Airport. You can arrange for ground transportation to meet you at either the airport or the marina in your own Ibiza car hire.

Ibiza town is one of the oldest and most well preserved medieval towns in all of Europe. It is the largest and most beautiful town on the Island. Here you can find Ibiza's stunning 16th century cathedral, with views of the neighboring islands and beyond.
Explore Ibiza town's romantic, cobbled streets, visiting its unique boutiques, fabulous restaurants, and chic bars, where you can sit and enjoy watching the beautiful people passing by. Head north to the island's famous beaches, and enjoy a Sunday drum circle with the Ibiza hippies.

Take your car hire Ibiza on to the east side of the island for an afternoon of shopping at the Hippie Market in Es Cana. Here you will find a hillside covered with stalls selling all manner of goods. Beaded necklaces and bangles, pipes and bongs, and other token souvenirs for the ones you left back home.
Don't miss out on a traditional Spanish Pallea. The original rice dish was cooked with the local game of the time, including rabbit, chicken and snails. Here in Ibiza seafood has replaced the snails, and there is simply nothing to compare it to. Many restaurants on the island cook their paella in giant pans up to six feet in circumference!
